Brent oil prices declined due to expectations that the US-Iran conflict would end. Following this development, a discount of 4 lira 88 kurus is expected for diesel starting Tuesday, but due to the sliding scale tax system, only about 1 lira 22 kurus of the reduction is projected to be reflected at the pump. No changes are expected in gasoline prices.
Mobility in oil prices and exchange rates continues to affect fuel prices in global markets. Expectations that the war between the USA and Iran may come to an end have led to a decline in Brent oil prices. The barrel price of Brent crude oil has fallen to $85.77.
A DISCOUNT OF 4.88 LIRA ON DIESEL ON THE AGENDA
Gazetece columnist Olcay Aydilek, commenting on energy markets, announced that a discount of 4 lira 88 kuruş is expected on diesel prices, effective as of Tuesday.
NOT ALL WILL BE REFLECTED AT THE PUMP DUE TO THE FLOATING TAX SYSTEM
According to the information shared by Aydilek, not all of the said discount will be reflected at the pump due to the floating tax system. It is anticipated that approximately 1 lira 22 kuruş of the expected 4 lira 88 kuruş discount will be passed on to the consumer.
No change is currently expected in gasoline prices.
CURRENT FUEL PRICES
As of June 14, 2026, the liter price of gasoline is 63.03 TL, and the liter price of diesel is 66.41 TL on the European side of Istanbul.
On the Anatolian side of Istanbul, the liter price of gasoline is 62.87 TL, and the liter price of diesel is 66.25 TL.
In Ankara, the liter price of gasoline is 63.99 TL, and the liter price of diesel is 67.51 TL, while in Izmir, the liter price of gasoline is 64.27 TL, and the liter price of diesel is 67.78 TL.
