Galatasaray has reached an agreement with Przemyslaw Frankowski, who plays for Lens, for a salary of 2 million euros and a 3.5-year contract. The yellow-reds have increased their offer for the Polish player's transfer fee to 6 million euros and are waiting for a response from the French club.
In the winter transfer period, Galatasaray, which added Ahmed Kutucu, Alvaro Morata, Mario Lemina, and Carlos Cuesta to its squad, is preparing to finalize another transfer.
AGREEMENT REACHED WITH FRANKOWSKI
Galatasaray has reached an agreement on contract terms with 29-year-old Przemyslaw Frankowski, who plays for the French Ligue 1 team Lens. The yellow-reds have agreed on a salary of 2 million euros and a 3.5-year contract with Frankowski. The agreement will last until 2027, and there will be an option to extend the contract until 2028.
WAITING FOR LENS' RESPONSE
Galatasaray is also continuing negotiations with Lens regarding the transfer fee. Cimbom initially offered 5 million euros to the French team for the Polish player, who can play on both sides of the midfield as well as left and right back. The yellow-reds, who raised their offer to 6 million euros, are now waiting for Lens' response, which initially asked for 7 million euros in the first contact.
NOT INCLUDED IN THE MATCH SQUAD
Lens has taken Frankowski out of the squad for the Nice match because they are evaluating Galatasaray's offer and official negotiations are taking place with the yellow-red team. If the transfer is finalized, Frankowski will only be able to participate in the Super League and the Turkish Cup this season.
