A pit bull dog, walked without a leash or muzzle by its owner in Maltepe, attacked a cat in the middle of a residential complex. As the owner struggled to control the dog, it tore the cat apart while residents recorded the horrifying moments in shock. The dog's owner was seen asking for help, saying, "What can I do about this?"

The incident occurred in Maltepe, Istanbul. The prohibited breed dog, which was reported to be walked without a leash and muzzle by its owner, tore apart a cat within the site it was roaming. Despite the efforts of nearby citizens, they were unable to take the cat away from the dog. The dog's owner, who was trying to pull the dog away amidst the screams, cried out for help.

A resident of the site in Maltepe, Istanbul, experienced horrifying moments while trying to prevent the prohibited breed dog from tearing apart a cat, which it was being walked without a muzzle and leash. Despite numerous complaints from the residents about this situation, they reacted strongly to the problem escalating to this point as the dog dismembered the cat. When a person trying to separate the cat from the dog by pushing it away was unsuccessful, they broke down in tears. After the incident, it was learned that the prohibited breed dog was blind.

"WHAT IS IT DOING HERE?"

Moments when the dog was tearing apart the cat were captured on the cell phones of other residents. After the incident, the dog's owner's father was seen arriving and pointing at the cat, saying, "What is it doing here?" while nearby citizens reacted to the man. After realizing their dog was blind, the father and daughter experienced great panic. After dismembering the cat, the dog, which lost its sight, was taken to the hospital by its owners, while the lifeless body of the cat remained on the ground in pieces.
