In Aksaray, a 20-year-old young man seriously injured his mother's boyfriend by stabbing him in the chest and back. The mother, who came to her son after he was taken into custody, slapped the police officer he attacked in the hospital.
20-year-old Cumali M., who lives on the 3rd floor of a 4-story apartment building on Selçuk Street in Aksaray, caught his mother with her alleged boyfriend Gökhan I. at her house.
HE BROUGHT TERROR WITH A KNIFE HE OBTAINED
The young man, who grabbed a knife, attacked Gökhan I. and stabbed him in the chest and back. The seriously injured individual managed to escape from the house and reached the elevator shaft, where he collapsed on the ground in a pool of blood. Apartment residents, hearing the sounds of the fight, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams, who arrived shortly at the scene, provided the first intervention to the injured person inside the apartment.
HE TRIED TO ATTACK A SECOND TIME
Meanwhile, the young man with the knife, who came to the apartment shaft, attempted to stab the injured person again. While the medical teams intervened with the young man, the police requested backup units to the scene. Seeing the police, the young man fled with the knife in his hand. As a result of the police's pursuit, the young man was caught and detained in a field in a back street. The injured man was taken to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
MOTHER ATTACKED POLICE AT THE HOSPITAL
Detained Cumali M. was brought to the hospital by police teams for a health check. His mother, Aslı D. (38), who came to the hospital to see her son, argued with the police teams. The mother, who demanded that her son's handcuffs be removed, was intervened by the police. The young man resisted the police officers for a long time, while the mother slapped a police officer in front of everyone, shouting at everyone in the hospital.
MOTHER ALSO DETAINED ALONG WITH HER SON
The police officer, who was shocked by the slap, along with the guards, handcuffed the woman in a reverse manner to neutralize her. The subdued woman was also detained along with her son. The mother and son, who were subjected to a health check, were taken to the police station for their statements.
HIS CONDITION IS CRITICAL
It was learned that Gökhan I., who underwent surgery, is in critical condition. It was also reported that the police officer who was slapped would file a complaint against the woman. An investigation has been initiated by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident.
