The investigation into the death of Narin Güran (8), whose lifeless body was found in a stream 19 days after she went missing in the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, has revealed the statement of Narin's uncle, Salim Güran, who is currently in custody. IS THERE A POSSIBILITY THAT YOU ARE NARIN GÜRAN'S FATHER?When asked if there is a possibility that he is Narin Güran's father, her uncle replied, "No, there is no such thing." When asked who harmed Narin Güran and why, he responded, "I don't know, who harmed her." In his statement, when asked if he killed Narin Güran, he replied, "No, there is no such thing. I didn't kill her." UNANSWERED QUESTION FOR THE UNCLEWhen asked about the presence of a vehicle in all of Narin Güran's uncles and the explanation for DNA being found only in his vehicle, Narin's uncle could not provide an answer. "SALİM GÜRAN OFFERED ME 200 THOUSAND LIRA"Meanwhile, there have been consecutive confessions from secret witness N.B. regarding the imprisoned uncle Salim Güran. After it was determined that he went to the stream with his vehicle, the suspect was taken into custody and during interrogation, he said, "The mayor (Narin's uncle) gave me the body in a sack. I took the sack and brought it to the stream." The secret witness also stated that the uncle offered him 200 thousand TL to get rid of the body. The witness said that after disposing of the body, Salim Güran went home and prayed, and then participated in the search efforts. He confessed that Salim Güran was involved in the search efforts as a show. WHAT HAPPENED?On August 21, Narin Güran, who went to a Quran course in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of Bağlar district, did not return home after the course, so her family searched for her on their own. When the search yielded no results, Narin's father, Arif Güran, reported her missing on the same day around 8:00 PM. As a result, numerous search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area, and searches were conducted in houses in the neighborhood and vehicles entering the village. While the search efforts were ongoing, Narin's brother E.G. (18) was detained due to bite marks on his arm. After the examination at the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute failed to determine whether the bite marks belonged to Narin, E.G. was released. Subsequently, Narin's uncle, who is also the muhtar (village head) of the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood, Salim Güran, was taken into custody. Salim Güran, whose DNA samples taken from his vehicle matched the DNA samples from Narin's clothes, was arrested on charges of "intentional killing" and "deprivation of liberty." As the search efforts focused on previously searched areas, the teams conducted a search in the Eğertutmaz Stream, located 2 kilometers away from the neighborhood, and found Narin's lifeless body on the 19th day. It was determined that Narin was killed and her body was thrown into the stream in a sack, which was then covered with stones.
