The Narin Güran case has begun. After the witness Nevzat Bahtiyar took the stand, Narin's brother Enes Güran came up to the defendant's podium. When asked whether there was a relationship between the judge's uncle Salim and his mother Yüksel, Enes Güran gave an interesting response.

After being found dead in a sack in a stream bed 19 days after going missing in Diyarbakır, the trial began for the detained suspects, including Narin Güran's mother Yüksel, her brother Enes, and her uncle Salim Güran, who are charged with 'Intentional murder of a child in complicity' and face aggravated life imprisonment. The first hearing of the trial started with the confession of Nevzat Bahtiyar taking the stand first.

In the trial that has captivated Turkey, after Bahtiyar, Enes Güran, the brother, took the stand. The judge reminded Enes Güran of Bahtiyar's statement: "Uncle Salim told me 'Narin saw me having sexual intercourse with her mother'." When the judge asked, "Could Narin have seen your mother and uncle like that?" Enes Güran did not say "no" but instead gave a different answer.

HE DID NOT SAY "NO" TO THE QUESTION ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HIS UNCLE AND HIS MOTHER

In response to Enes Güran saying, "Your Honor, that is my mother, it is very inappropriate for you to ask like that," the judge replied, "You are right, I apologize. I am trying to uncover the truth."

Judge: Could Narin have seen your mother and uncle like that?

Enes Güran: Your Honor, that is my mother, it is very inappropriate for you to ask like that.

Judge: You are right, I apologize. I am trying to uncover the truth.
