After the owner of the land in Sahil Village, located in the Pazar district of Rize, passed away, the heirs demanded money for the land from the villagers, on which a mosque was built. The villagers, reacting to the heirs, immediately constructed a new mosque next to it, and the old mosque was demolished.

LANDOWNER PASSED AWAY, HEIRS REQUESTED MONEY
For many years, the mosque met the worship needs of the village people, but after the death of the landowner, it became the center of ownership disputes. Following the landowner's death, the heirs applied to the village council, demanding payment for the land on which the mosque is located.
VILLAGERS BUILT THEIR OWN MOSQUE
However, the villagers reacted to this request, saying, "Instead of giving you money, we will build a new mosque." As a result, a new mosque was constructed in the village. After the completion of the new mosque, the old Sahil Köyü Mosque, which had been used for years, was demolished.
