The suspect Mustafa Örün, who took Şirin's life by saying "It annoyed me," has been arrested.

The lifeless body of 6-year-old girl Elmas Hanilçi, found in Şişli late at night, led to the arrest of the murder suspect Mustafa Örün, who was taken to judicial authorities after his procedures at the police station and was sent to prison.

THE WASTE COLLECTOR CONFESSED TO KILLING ŞİRİN

Murder suspect Mustafa Örün (49), who confessed to strangling 6-year-old Şirin Elmas Hanilçi, who went missing on October 31 in Şişli, was caught and detained by police teams after the incident. It was learned that Mustafa Örün was a waste collector, and in his first statement at the police station, he confessed that he committed the act within the Feriköy Cemetery.

Örün, who was previously known to have a criminal record, was referred to the duty magistrate for arrest after his procedures at the police station. The murder suspect Mustafa Örün was arrested by the magistrate he was brought before and sent to prison.

"I SQUEEZED MY LIFE, I STRANGLED HER TO DEATH"

On the other hand, the statement of waste collector Mustafa Örün, who was identified by security camera footage as the one who killed Şirin, was chilling. It was learned that Örün stated, "She came to me. She asked for money. I told her I wouldn't give it. She didn't leave me alone. She kept asking for money. I squeezed my life. I got angry and strangled her to death there by the cemetery. Then I tried to hide the body by covering it with bushes."
