FIRST HE ATTACKED WITH A HAMMER, THEN HE SET THE HOUSE ON FIRE

As the argument escalated, a fight broke out between the two friends. S.K., who tried to make it look like his friend had fallen after injuring him with a hammer, also set the house on fire and fled the scene. Upon noticing the smoke, the neighbors alerted the authorities, and the fire department, which arrived at the scene, found the body of the elderly man after bringing the fire under control. After the situation was reported to the police, the Ankara Police Department's Homicide Bureau teams launched an investigation and determined that the deceased had not died from burning and that the house had been deliberately set on fire.

HE PLANNED TO MISLEAD THE POLICE

As the homicide bureau police deepened their investigation, they took action to capture the identified suspect S.K. The suspect S.K., who had devised a scenario to leave the city to mislead the police, was found to have first gone to the bus station to escape from the police who were calling him, trying to create the impression that he was leaving the city. After leaving the bus station, it was determined that S.K. had taken refuge in the Esat neighborhood of Çankaya. After extensive efforts by the teams, the suspect, who was found to be at an entertainment venue, was captured and taken into custody. It was learned that the suspect confessed to his crime at the police station, stating, "I knew I couldn't escape, I wanted to have a good time on my last night." After the procedures here, S.K. was referred to the courthouse.
