HE CUT IN FRONT OF THEM, INVITING AN ACCIDENT
The incident occurred around 08:30 AM at the Köroğlu Ramps on the TEM Highway Istanbul direction. According to information, the driver of a jeep with license plate 34 UC 4257, Özkan B. (41), suddenly cut off the car driven by Ahmet Ozan D. (32) with license plate 41 BCG 916, who was returning from Kastamonu to his hometown Kocaeli. While driving, the jeep driver, inviting a major accident, forced the family behind him to stop in the middle of the highway.
HE OPENED THE DOOR OF THE MOVING CAR AND GRABBED THE DRIVER'S THROAT
The furious man got out of his vehicle and quickly approached the family, shouting and starting an argument with the car driver, Ahmet Ozan D. Although the victim family wanted to quickly leave and continue their journey, the enraged Özkan B. forcibly opened the door of the moving car and grabbed the driver by the throat.
While the bewildered driver tried to protect himself, his wife Ülkü Hilal D. (28), who was a passenger, intervened to stop the fight. During the scuffle, the unfortunate woman, trying to save her husband from the attacker's grip, was injured in her hand from the blows. Other citizens nearby intervened and barely calmed the angry driver.

The terrifying moments in the middle of the highway were recorded second by second on a mobile phone by the woman in the car. After the incident, the attacked family, terrified, returned to their home in Kocaeli and did not initially file an official complaint. However, as the mobile phone footage of the event spread rapidly on social media and drew massive reactions from millions, police forces went on high alert.

Treating the social media footage as an official complaint, traffic teams quickly identified the driver of the vehicle with license plate 34 UC 4257, Özkan B. The individual, who disregarded traffic safety and endangered others, was given an administrative fine of 180,000 TL, and his driver's license was temporarily revoked for 60 days.
Additionally, the Bolu Duty Public Prosecutor was informed about the incident, and in line with instructions, a comprehensive judicial investigation was launched against the attacker for the crimes of "Preventing the Movement of Transport Vehicles," "Threat," and "Intentional Injury." The investigation into the incident continues.
