FIRST CONCRETE STEP AFTER THE AGREEMENT
Following the agreement signed between the Syrian government and the terrorist organization YPG in recent days, the first steps have begun to be taken on the ground. In this context, a convoy belonging to the internal security units of the Syrian Ministry of Interior reached the provincial center of Hasakah.
ENTRY WITH ARMORED VEHICLES
It was reported that a convoy consisting of 8 personnel carrier armored vehicles, numerous four-wheel drive pickups, ambulances, and base station vehicles entered the city center by advancing from the eastern front.
SYRIAN FLAG RAISED ON THE FLAGPOLE
Images shared from Hasakah showed moments when the Syrian flag was raised on the flagpole in the city, which became a trending topic on social media. The images were considered one of the most striking signs that the agreement had begun to be implemented.
INTERNAL SECURITY COMMANDER'S INSTRUCTION
In a written statement made by the Syrian Ministry of Interior, it was noted that Hasakah Internal Security Commander Brigadier General Mervan al-Ali instructed the troops during the entry process into the city. The statement emphasized the planned execution of security duties, compliance with laws and regulations, maintenance of public order, and the protection of citizens and public-private property.
TRANSFER OF STATE INSTITUTIONS IS FORESEEN
As part of the agreement reached between the Syrian government and YPG, it is aimed to hand over security and state institutions in the city of Hasakah and the district of Qamishli, which are under the control of the organization, to the Syrian administration.
