In Adana, after killing her husband and injuring three people, specialist sergeant Gökhan Çelik, who refused to surrender to the police and was shot in the leg and fled the scene, was caught on the roof of an empty house. In his first statement, Çelik said, "We couldn't get along. I came to Adana to talk and see my child. I was in a state of panic inside the vehicle. The argument escalated."
The specialist sergeant Gökhan Çelik (27), who killed his wife Hatice Çelik (29), a teacher in Adana, and seriously injured his brother-in-law, sports instructor Murat Akdöker, was captured.
The incident occurred yesterday around 12:30 on Güneykuşak Boulevard in Seyhan district. A dispute broke out between teacher Hatice Çelik, who is the mother of one child and was previously complained about and had a restraining order against her husband, specialist sergeant Gökhan Çelik. It is stated that there was incompatibility between the couple due to jealousy. Gökhan Çelik pulled out his gun when Hatice Çelik got out of the car and tried to escape. However, Gökhan Çelik shot and killed his wife, who was also serving in Mardin, from behind, and then shot his brother-in-law Murat Akdöker. Stray bullets hit İsmail Hakkı Ağca (71) and Can Alagöz (57) who were passing by.
ESCAPED WHILE INJURED
Police officers who intervened in the incident warned the murder suspect to surrender. However, Çelik refused to surrender and was shot in the leg. Gökhan Çelik, who was injured, entered the side streets and disappeared. While it was stated that Akdöker, who was seriously injured in the incident, was still in critical condition, it was learned that the condition of the 2 people injured by stray bullets was good.
CAUGHT ON THE ROOF OF AN EMPTY HOUSE
It was determined that Gökhan Çelik, who fled from the scene, was hiding on the roof of an empty house in Yeşilyuva Neighborhood. The police, who conducted an operation in the house, caught the slightly injured Çelik and took him into custody.

The argument escalated," it was learned. Specialist sergeant Gökhan Çelik was referred to the duty magistrate after his statement.
Meanwhile, the body of teacher Hatice Çelik was delivered to her family after the autopsy at Adana Forensic Medicine Institute. Çelik's funeral was held in Adana.
