A biology teacher was stabbed to death by his brother in the Sarıçam district of Adana. The incident occurred following a dispute over the two brothers' plan to start a joint business. The suspect, who stabbed his brother, stated in his testimony, "I was not myself." After his procedures at the police station, the suspect was arrested by the court to which he was brought. The knife used in the incident was found in the garden of the apartment building.
In the Osmangazi neighborhood of the Sarıçam district, A.A. (31) went to his brother M.A.'s (35) house. Here, the two brothers agreed to open a joint bag manufacturing factory. A.A. wanted their younger brother D.A. to also be a partner in the business they were going to start. However, the older brother did not accept this offer because he was estranged from the younger brother.
THE ARGUMENT ESCALATED, HE STABBED HIS BROTHER
It was alleged that an argument broke out between the two brothers, who were reportedly under the influence of alcohol. During the argument, the older brother beat his younger brother. At that moment, A.A. stabbed his brother in the chest three times with a knife he had grabbed. The residents of the apartment, hearing the commotion, reported the situation to the police and medical teams. The medical teams that arrived at the scene determined that M.A. had lost his life, while the younger brother, who was injured in the fight, was taken to Çukurova University Balcalı Medical Faculty Hospital.
"HE HIT ME ON THE HEAD WITH A BOTTLE, I WAS NOT MYSELF"
After treatment at the hospital, A.A. was taken into custody by the teams from the Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch Directorate. The knife used in the incident was found in the garden of the apartment. Investigations revealed that A.A. had committed the murder.
In his statement at the police station, A.A. reportedly said, "He hit me on the head with a bottle, I don't remember anything else. I was not myself." The suspect, whose police procedures were completed, was arrested by the court to which he was brought.
Meanwhile, it was learned that the deceased older brother was a biology teacher.
