The teams that stopped the vehicle they suspected were astonished when they opened the trunk.

The teams of the Anti-Smuggling and Border Gates Branch in Amasya stopped a car with the license plate 34 KF 0494, which was suspected of carrying irregular migrants, at the Taşova application point in central Amasya. During the search, 3 irregular migrants were found in the back seat of the vehicle and 2 in the trunk.

THEY WERE DETAINED

The migrants, who were determined to have traveled more than 800 kilometers, and the driver Cengiz E., registered in Tokat Erbaa, along with Kerem O., registered in the Ağrı Hamur district, and Deniz C., registered in Iğdır, were detained and taken to the police station.

A FINE OF 18 THOUSAND TL WAS IMPOSED

Legal action was initiated against them for the crime of human smuggling. It was learned that a fine of 18,534 TL was imposed on the vehicle used in the incident due to misuse. It was reported that the Afghan irregular migrants would be handed over to the Irregular Migrant Pre-Acceptance and Transfer Center (GÖKSEM) after their processing.
