KONYAALTI BEACH IS EMPTY
With the effect of climate change, Antalya, which had a mild winter season, has seen an increase in temperatures, while the humidity level was measured at 9 percent. Konyaalti Beach, which is usually filled with tourists and local residents of Antalya, remained empty. The city residents and tourists preferred not to leave their homes and hotels in the hot weather.
"FEELS LIKE 50 DEGREES"
Ismail Yilmaz, who came to the beach with his friend to chat, announced that they would return home as they couldn't bear the high temperature, just 15 minutes after arriving at Konyaalti Beach. Yilmaz said, "It feels like the temperature is 50 degrees."
Latife Koksal, who said she came from Kırşehir with her family for a wedding, stated, "We came from Kırşehir and had our grandchild's wedding, and now we are having our honeymoon by the sea. Antalya is very hot, we are sitting under the tree. We come here during the day, eat, drink, and chat. We love Antalya very much."
