A dispute that broke out at a wedding in the Sarıçam district of Adana ended in bloodshed. The grandmother of the bride, Eşe Adamhasan, lost her life after a friend of a man who was warned for sitting in a tank top instead of a t-shirt opened fire with a shotgun. While the suspect who used the weapon fled the scene, three people were taken into custody.
During a wedding in Adana, 68-year-old Eşe Adamhasan, who was the grandmother of the groom and the bride, lost her life due to gunfire from a rifle, and it was learned that the killer had fled. It was revealed that the incident, which ended in murder, started with a discussion after the fugitive suspect was warned for wanting to take off his friend's t-shirt and sit in a tank top.

On the evening of August 23, in the Cerenli neighborhood of the Sarıçam district, it was claimed that İ.Ç., who attended the wedding of M.Ş. and E.A., consumed alcohol. After a while, due to the heat, İ.Ç. began to take off his t-shirt and sit in a tank top. Nearby citizens warned İ.Ç., saying, "This is a wedding place, there are women and children." After the warning, İ.Ç. started to argue with E.U., S.U., and an unnamed person who was with him.
HE STARTED TO FIRE RANDOMLY
During the argument, E.U. went home, got a shotgun, and began to fire randomly in the wedding house. Upon hearing the gunshots, Eşe Adamhasan (68) entered the house she was sitting in. At that moment, E.U. fired from behind the door. The pellets that passed through the door hit Adamhasan's back. The elderly woman collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood. Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Medical teams determined that the woman had died. After the autopsy conducted at the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute, Eşe Adamhasan's body was buried in the cemetery in Cerenli neighborhood. While E.U., who allegedly used the gun, fled, the other three suspects were caught shortly after. It was reported that the gendarmerie continued the search for E.U., who was said to have used the weapon. It was learned that Eşe Adamhasan was the grandmother of the groom and the bride.

The deceased woman's son-in-law, Ali Adamhasan, said, "A fight broke out among the young people at the wedding. We separated and dispersed the fight. Later, E.U. started firing randomly with a shotgun. Then he saw us. While we were running inside, my wife and I were in front, and my mother-in-law was left behind us. Despite the door being closed, when he fired, my mother-in-law was shot. The person who committed the act has not been caught. We want our state to catch these individuals as soon as possible."
