Brazilian social media phenomenon Bianca Dias passed away due to complications following her cosmetic surgery. The sudden death of the 27-year-old influencer devastated her followers.
SHE SUFFERED A PULMONARY EMBOLISM
According to a report by TMZ, Dias began experiencing shortness of breath while recovering from surgery at her family's home near Sao Paulo. It was noted that the young influencer suffered a pulmonary embolism, one of the risks associated with major cosmetic surgeries.
Doctors were unable to save Dias after her condition worsened and she was taken to the hospital.
"SHE WAS NOT ALIVE WHEN SHE ARRIVED AT THE HOSPITAL"
The influencer's close friend Giovanna Borges confirmed the sad news with a post on her Instagram account. Borges stated that Dias suffered a pulmonary embolism before her death and experienced two seizures.
Borges said in her post, "Bia had surgery and while recovering at home, a clot formed in her lung. She had two seizures and was no longer alive when she arrived at the hospital."
