The transfer of N'Golo Kante, for which Fenerbahçe has been making intense efforts for a while, did not happen. Youssef En-Nesyri, who was to be used in the swap, also remained with the yellow-navy team. It was stated that the two transfers were canceled because the paperwork did not arrive in time.
During the transfer period, Fenerbahçe, which added Musaba, Guendouzi, and Mert Günok to its squad, worked hard to bring the world-famous midfielder N'Golo Kante together with the yellow-blue jersey. However, the transfer of Kante was canceled at the last moment due to Al-Ittihad's move for Youssef En-Nesyri.
THE TRADE FORMULA WAS SHAKEN HANDS
Fenerbahçe had reached an agreement with Al-Ittihad for the transfer of N'Golo Kante in exchange for Youssef En-Nesyri and 4 million Euros. Moroccan striker En-Nesyri had started in the starting eleven against Kocaelispor, and his farewell to teammates after the match was interpreted as the completion of the transfer.
KANTE HAD PASSED THE MEDICAL CHECK
The yellow-blue management had passed another important stage in the transfer process, as Kante had undergone a medical check in Saudi Arabia. The fact that the French star was not included in the match squad was also evaluated as a matter of time for the transfer.
"NO PROBLEM" WAS SAID
Fenerbahçe Executive Ali Gürbüz emphasized in his statement after the victory against Kocaelispor that there was no problem with the Kante transfer, saying, "We have little time, but we will complete our deficiencies within 1-2 days. There is currently no problem with the Kante transfer."
DOCUMENTS DID NOT ARRIVE, TRANSFERS WERE CANCELED
However, the development that came today caused disappointment in the yellow-blue community. It was learned that the transfers of N'Golo Kante for Fenerbahçe and Youssef En-Nesyri for Al-Ittihad were canceled due to both clubs failing to upload the documents to the system on time. Thus, the trade and transfer plan agreed upon by the parties was officially shelved.
