Iran announced that it targeted the USS Tripoli amphibious assault ship belonging to the United States with a missile attack, while it was claimed that the ship withdrew from the area after the attack.

In a statement made by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, it was noted that the LHA-7 type USS Tripoli ship belonging to the U.S. Navy was subjected to missile attacks. The statement included the phrase, “The ship, carrying more than 5,000 sailors and Marines, was targeted by Iran’s lightning-fast missile attacks.”
