The UK has suspended free trade agreement negotiations with Tel Aviv due to Israel's expansion of attacks in the Gaza Strip. The London administration also summoned the Israeli ambassador to the Foreign Office. Additionally, it was announced that a decision has been made to impose sanctions on Jewish settlers in the West Bank, which is under Israeli occupation.
The UK announced that it has suspended negotiations for a free trade agreement with Israel, which is expanding its military operations in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement made in Hebrew by the UK government regarding the issue, it was stated, "While the British government continues its commitment to the existing trade agreement, it is not possible to continue negotiations for a new and improved trade agreement with the Netanyahu government, which particularly supports the bad policies in the West Bank and Gaza."
SANCTIONS ON ISRAELI SETTLERS
In a separate statement made on behalf of the government, it was noted that a decision has been made to impose sanctions on Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank.
ISRAELI AMBASSADOR SUMMONED TO THE MINISTRY
At the same time, Israel's Ambassador to the UK, Tzipi Hotovely, was summoned to the Foreign Office following the expansion of operations in Gaza.
CALL FROM THE FOREIGN MINISTER TO NETANYAHU
UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy described Israel's blockade of Gaza as 'ruthlessness' in a statement regarding the issue. Lammy also referred to the fact that humanitarian aid has been blocked from reaching Gaza for 11 weeks, stating that the situation is 'indefensible' and 'cruel.' He also called on Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to 'immediately end' the blockade in Gaza.
