This year, a total of 9 candidates received a perfect score of 500 in the 2024-YKS, which took place on June 8-9, in the verbal, equal weight, and numerical score types of the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT) and the Field Proficiency Tests (AYT), as well as 5 in the Foreign Language Tests (YDT). With the announcement of the placement results by ÖSYM yesterday, the universities and departments where the top-ranking students were placed were also determined. ONE OF THE CHAMPIONS GOT ACCEPTED TO THE MEDICAL FACULTY
According to the placement results, out of the 9 champions, 4 got accepted to engineering programs, 3 to economics/business programs, 1 to a business program, and 1 to a medical faculty. The TYT first-place student, Süleyman Mete Genç, a graduate of Mersin-Özel Mersin Elit Koleji Fen Lisesi, got accepted to ODTÜ Computer Engineering, the AYT numerical first-place student, Arda Taşdemir, a graduate of Elazığ-Cemil Meriç Fen Lisesi, got accepted to Boğaziçi University Computer Engineering, and the YDT French first-place student, Yunus Emre Aydoğan, a graduate of İstanbul-Çapa Fen Lisesi, got accepted to Galatasaray University Computer Engineering. The YDT English first-place student, Mehmet Alp Güneş, a graduate of İstanbul Atatürk Fen Lisesi, got accepted to ODTÜ Electrical-Electronics Engineering. The AYT verbal first-place student, Fatih Emre Düzcan, a graduate of Rize-Özel Rize Bahçeşehir Koleji Anadolu Lisesi, and the AYT equal weight first-place student, Berra Kuruş, a graduate of İstanbul-Galatasaray Lisesi, got accepted to Boğaziçi University Economics department. The YDT Arabic first-place student, Yusuf Salih Orhan, a graduate of İstanbul-Kartal Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi, got accepted to Koç University Economics department (full scholarship). The YDT Russian first-place student, Safiye Yaşar, a graduate of Ankara-Ayrancı Anadolu Lisesi, got accepted to Bilkent University Business department (full scholarship). The YDT German first-place student, Sevgi Kırmızıbekmez, a graduate of İstanbul-Kabataş Erkek Lisesi, got accepted to İstanbul-Cerrahpaşa University Medical Faculty (Turkish).
