The US and Iran have officially taken the step to end the 107-day war. It was announced yesterday that the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding digitally. The signatures were reportedly made by US President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Mohammad Kalibaf. Trump stated, "We succeeded in reaching an agreement with Iran. The Strait of Hormuz will fully reopen on Friday. Iran has things to do, then sanctions will be eased."

A US official stated that the memorandum of understanding with Iran was signed by Trump and Vance, and on the Iranian side, Parliament Speaker Kalibaf affixed his signature.

"Ships, mostly loaded with oil, have started moving through the Strait of Hormuz. The ships are passing through the Southern Highway, which is completely safe, secure, and spotless."

Trump also noted that there are other travel routes for maritime transportation in the region but did not share details about these routes.

US VICE PRESIDENT VANCE: WE HOPE TO RELEASE THE AGREEMENT TEXT WITHIN THE WEEK

US Vice President JD Vance, who will sign the agreement on behalf of his country, said, "We hope to release the agreement text within the week."

Speaking to the American television network CNBC, Vance stated that they expect Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to attend the signing ceremony planned for Friday in Switzerland.

"WE WILL SEE ON WHICH ISSUES THE IRANIANS WILL CONCEDE"

"We expect the Strait of Hormuz to be opened free of charge in the long term," Vance said, adding, "We will see on which issues Tehran will concede."

"THERE ARE ALSO THOSE IN ISRAEL WHO ARE PLEASED WITH THE AGREEMENT"

Stating that there are still many issues awaiting resolution, US Vice President Vance said, "There are also those in Israel who are pleased with the agreement. Israel will have a seat at the new Middle East table."

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Bekayi said, "Ending the war in Lebanon is an integral part of the agreement with the US."

1- Immediate and permanent cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon.

7- Presentation of reconstruction plans worth at least $300 billion by the US and its allies.

8- Conducting 60-day negotiations to reach a final agreement on nuclear issues and the lifting of US primary and secondary sanctions, as well as restrictions from the UN Security Council and the IAEA.

9- Iran's reaffirmation of its commitment under the NPT not to produce nuclear weapons.

10- The US not increasing its forces in the region and not imposing new sanctions during the negotiation process.

11- Release of $24 billion from frozen Iranian funds in the last 60 days of negotiations, with half of this amount given to Iran before the negotiations begin.

12- Establishment of a monitoring mechanism for the implementation of the agreement.

13- Approval of the final agreement by a UN Security Council resolution.

14- The final negotiations to cover only the fate of enriched uranium, enrichment activities, lifting of sanctions, and Iran's economic reconstruction; Iran's missile program and support for allied groups in the region to be excluded from the negotiation agenda.
