US and Israeli warplanes have launched new attacks on many locations, primarily the Iranian capital Tehran. While the port on the Iran-Pakistan border was hit, a fire was seen breaking out at the port. Those moments were captured on camera.
After the Israeli army announced that it had launched new attacks on Iran's capital Tehran, explosions occurred in many parts of the city.
EXPLOSIONS IN TEHRAN
AA's Iran correspondent reported that the northern, eastern, and western parts of Tehran were targeted by warplanes and smoke was rising from those areas. It was observed that Iran's air defense systems were actively working before the explosions, but they could not prevent the attacks. The sounds of warplanes continue to be heard over Tehran from time to time.
THEY STRUCK THE PORT
One of the targeted locations was the port on the Iran-Pakistan border. A fire broke out at the port after the explosion. Those moments were captured on camera.
NETANYAHU: ATTACKS WILL INTENSIFY
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made statements after a meeting with Defense Minister Israel Katz, Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, and Mossad Chief David Barnea. Netanyahu stated that Israel's attacks on Iran would continue to intensify, saying, "Our forces are currently conducting intense attacks on the heart of Tehran, and these attacks will intensify even more in the coming days."
Referring to the attacks carried out in Tel Aviv and Beit Shemesh, Netanyahu expressed, "I sincerely offer my condolences to the families and wish a speedy recovery to the injured."
Claiming that the attacks on Iran were conducted to secure Israel's existence and future, Netanyahu stated that the full power of the Israeli army was used in these attacks, saying, "Our joint efforts with the U.S. make it possible to do what I have wanted to do for a long time, which is to decisively attack the terrorist regime."
U.S.-ISRAEL ATTACKS AND IRAN'S RETALIATIONS
While negotiations continued between Tehran and Washington, Israel and the U.S. launched a military attack on Iran on February 28.
Iran responded with attacks on designated targets in some regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, where U.S. bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the U.S.-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed.
The Iranian Red Crescent announced that 201 people lost their lives and 747 were injured in the bombings targeting the country.
