Recently, Üsküdar Municipality, which has been in the news with consecutive land sales, informed the personnel via text message that salary payments could not be made on time.

In the message sent to the personnel by the municipality, it was stated, "Dear employees, due to delays in payroll processing caused by the nine-day administrative holiday of Ramadan Bayram, the salary payments for the March 2025 period will be made on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Thank you for your understanding."
HILMI TURKMEN COULDN'T REMAIN INDIFFERENT
Hilmi Türkmen, a member of the AK Party's Central Decision and Executive Board and former mayor of Üsküdar, also shared on his social media account regarding the issue, saying, "And it happened as expected; the CHP's Üsküdar Municipality cannot pay personnel salaries at the end of the first year."
DELAY WAS ALSO EXPERIENCED IN EYÜPSULTAN MUNICIPALITY
In March, the salaries of civil servants in Eyüpsultan Municipality were also paid approximately 10 days late. Payments that should be made on the 15th of each month were made late for the first time in the municipality's history.
