It has been reported that the military vest worn by former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who lost his life in the clashes in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, and the chair he was sitting in while injured have been found. The owner of the house where Sinwar spent his last moments, Ashraf Abu Taha, stated that he retrieved items belonging to the Hamas leader from the rubble of his destroyed home with great difficulty.
The military vest worn by the former Hamas political bureau chief Yahya es-Sinvar, who lost his life in the clashes in Rafah, and the chair he was sitting in while injured before his death, were found in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.

The owner of the house where Sinvar fought against Israeli forces in his last moments, Ashraf Abu Taha, provided information regarding the matter in a statement. Abu Taha said that he managed to retrieve Sinvar's military vest, some of his clothes, and the chair he was sitting in while injured from the rubble of his destroyed house with great difficulty.
"A SOURCE OF PRIDE FOR ME"
Abu Taha expressed that his children managed to retrieve the chair, the military vest, and some torn clothes that were left under the rubble of the house destroyed by Israel with great difficulty. He noted that during the first two days of the ceasefire agreement, the remnants of his house turned into a place of pilgrimage, where many Palestinians flocked to examine the site that witnessed Sinvar's last battle before his death, emphasizing that Sinvar's "martyrdom" in his house was a source of pride for him.
BLOOD STAINS ON THE VEST
It was documented by cameras that blood stains were found on Sinvar's vest, and the chair was retrieved in pieces from the rubble.
Hamas leader Sinvar was killed on October 16, 2024, in a clash with Israeli soldiers in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip. Following Sinvar's killing, the Israeli army bombed Abu Taha's house, completely destroying it.
