A woman in Istanbul, who suspected that her husband was cheating on her, lost 7 million liras to so-called private detectives she found online. The gang leader, who made money transfers between different accounts to complicate tracking, was caught due to the cast on his arm. Seven suspects were arrested and sent to prison.

An incredible event took place in Istanbul. A woman, whose name has not been disclosed, suspected that her husband was cheating on her and conducted an online search for a private detective. During this process, individuals posing as detectives told her that they could clarify the situation by retrieving her husband's deleted messages.

FOOLED "PRIVATE DETECTIVES" OUT OF 7 MILLION LIRA

The suspects defrauded the woman out of a total of 7 million TL by telling her that she needed to purchase detective programs in three packages at different times. Following the woman's complaint, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation.

As part of the investigation, teams from the Ankara Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch identified 7 suspects who were determined to be conducting "private detective" work. It was learned that the suspects transferred money between different accounts to complicate tracking, wore motorcycle helmets to avoid recognition while withdrawing money from ATMs, and withdrew cash from banks.
