In the İpsala district of Edirne, a waiter named Tanju Özçiftçi was stabbed and killed while trying to break up a fight between the restaurant owner and a customer.
A waiter who intervened to break up a fight at a restaurant in Edirne's Ipsala district was stabbed to death.

According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between the business owner and a customer, C.O. (22), at a restaurant in Ipsala. Waiter Tanju Özçiftçi, who tried to separate the parties in the incident that turned into a fight, was seriously injured after being stabbed by C.O.
HE LOST HIS LIFE
Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon the report. Despite all interventions at Ipsala State Hospital, where he was taken for treatment, Tanju Özçiftçi lost his life. While C.O. was caught and taken into custody by the police, an investigation has been launched into the incident.
