The number of missing has risen to 20 in the disaster caused by the capsizing of a passenger ship carrying 267 people off the coast of Girne in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. TRNC Prime Minister Üstel said, 'There are 8 deaths and 20 missing. Confirmation efforts are ongoing for 40 people. Whoever is guilty will be punished.' The names of the 8 people who lost their lives in the accident were announced as Nuray Zeytun, Nihat Balyemez, Reyhan Verim, Gülcan Gürel, Hüseyin Özdemir, Fahri Ateş, Nisa Toker, and Nurcan Haliloğlu.
