The Iranian government stated that it conducted mobile phone tracking in the assassination attacks carried out by Israel against Iranian scientists and high-ranking commanders, warning the public to avoid using location-based applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and similar services.
The Iranian government has issued a cybersecurity warning to its citizens.
"DO NOT USE LOCATION-BASED MOBILE APPLICATIONS"
In a statement made by Iranian officials to the state broadcaster Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), the Iranian people were warned to avoid using location-based applications such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and similar services. The Iranian government stated that the use of these applications in wartime conditions is dangerous and requested that citizens turn off their mobile phones before moving.

It was stated that Israel conducted cell phone tracking in the assassination attacks on Iranian scientists and high-ranking commanders, and it was said, "People should avoid taking their mobile phones to sensitive locations. Especially employees of sensitive institutions should use secure telecommunications lines and avoid using insecure software."
"ISRAEL HAS LAUNCHED A WIDESPREAD CYBER WAR"
The Iranian Cybersecurity Command stated in its announcement that Israel has launched a large-scale cyber attack against Iran's digital infrastructure, aiming to disrupt online services provided to the Iranian people. The Cybersecurity Command announced that measures have been taken against Israel's "cyber war" and that most of the attacks have been successfully repelled. The command stated that the measures were taken to prevent Israel from "penetrating cyber layers and continuing to use the infrastructure for cyber and military operations."
IRAN'S LARGEST BANK WAS TARGETED BY CYBER ATTACKS
Bank Sepah, Iran's largest bank, was targeted by cyber attacks early today. A hacking group linked to Israel claimed responsibility for the attack, stating, "We have destroyed all the data of Bank Sepah."
CONFLICT STARTED WITH ISRAEL'S VIOLENT ATTACKS ON IRAN
On June 13, Israel carried out large-scale attacks targeting the military's high command, primarily focusing on nuclear facilities in various cities of Iran.
During the attacks, Iranian Chief of General Staff Mohammad Bagheri, IRGC Commander Hossein Salami, and several high-ranking commanders, along with 9 nuclear scientists, lost their lives, with a total civilian death toll reported as 224.
In retaliation, the Iranian army's missile strike against Israel reportedly resulted in the deaths of 24 people. Many countries, including Turkey, condemned Israel.
