White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt stated that Nvidia cannot sell its most advanced artificial intelligence chip, known as "Blackwell," to China.
Leavitt answered the question of whether the sale of Nvidia's most advanced artificial intelligence chips to China is a matter of negotiation at the press conference he held.
Leavitt stated that President Donald Trump's stance on this issue is very clear, saying, "Trump answered this question directly. The most advanced chips, the Blackwell chips, are not a product we want to sell to China right now."
Over the weekend, Trump had stated that the most advanced chips produced by Nvidia would be reserved for U.S. companies and kept away from China and other countries.
