In the 65th Kurtdereli Mehmet Pehlivan Oil Wrestling Championship, Orhan Okulu became the champion by defeating his opponent Mustafa Taş after 2 hours in the final.
The head wrestler of the 65th Traditional Kurtdereli Mehmet Pehlivan Oil Wrestling, hosted by Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality and Karesi Municipality, was Orhan Okulu.
1730 WRESTLERS PARTICIPATED
A total of 1730 wrestlers participated in the wrestling event held at Kurtdere Wrestling Field, including 74 head wrestlers.
FINAL LASTING 2 HOURS
In the final match of the wrestling, Orhan Okulu faced Mustafa Taş, who defeated Feyzullah Aktürk in the semi-finals, and Ali Gürbüz. Orhan Okulu won the final match against his opponent Mustafa Taş after 2 hours, becoming the owner of the golden belt and winning the head wrestling title at the Kurtdereli Oil Wrestling.
