The woman who defrauded the New York high society will show up in a dance competition! She will have an electronic ankle monitor on her wrist!

Dressed as a German millionaire, Anna Sorokin, also known as 'Anna Delvey', who deceived the New York high society and became the subject of TV series, will perform on the popular dance competition 'Dancing With The Stars'. Russian-born German citizen Anna Sorokin will dance with professional dancer Ezra Sosa and will have an electronic ankle bracelet while competing.

After the end of her two-year social media ban on August 7th, Sorokin returned to Instagram. She has been under house arrest since October 2022. During her house arrest, Sorokin had to comply with the immigration judge's condition of not using social media. She started a podcast called The Anna Delvey Show, which featured guests such as comedian Whitney Cummings and technology journalist Taylor Lorenz, who came to register at her apartment in New York's East Village.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Sorokin said, "Many people have become famous for bad things and managed to turn it into something different."

'Dancing With The Stars' is considered as Sorokin's first attempt to achieve this goal. Sorokin will compete in the 33rd season, which will premiere on September 17th on ABC and Disney+ in the United States. Despite having 1.1 million followers and access to social media, Sorokin continues to remain under house arrest. She will participate in the competition with an ankle bracelet, also known as an electronic ankle monitor.
