The young star of the movie "Baby Driver," Hudson Joseph Meek (16), lost his life in a traffic accident in Alabama.
On December 1, the young actor fell from a moving vehicle on Canyon Road in Vestavia Hills and died two days later at UAB Hospital. The Vestavia Hills Police Department is continuing the investigation into the accident.
Meek, known for his role as "Young Baby" in the 2017 film "Baby Driver," had appeared in several productions, including the series "MacGyver." It has been reported that he was also involved in upcoming projects set to be released in 2025.
A second-year student at Vestavia Hills High School and a player on the school's football team, Meek was described in a published tribute as "confident, faithful to his beliefs, unique, and quick-witted. He enjoyed making people laugh."
His family announced that they are working on a scholarship program for Vestavia Hills High School students to honor the memory of the young actor. Meg Deusner, owner of Acting Out Academy, stated, "Hudson was not only a talented actor but also a magical person who managed to touch everyone around him."
A memorial service for Meek will be held later this week.
