Ukrainian university student Vasilina, who gained attention for her dance video filmed in the midst of the war, responded to the criticism. The young woman said, "From the outside, it may seem like we don't care about anything, but we are human too. Going out with friends, having fun, and dancing is part of our culture. This is not wrong. Yes, there is a war, and I wish there wasn't. However, a dancing woman is not a bad thing."
While the war continues in the city of Odessa, Ukraine, university student Vasilina, who drew attention with her dance video, quickly gained significant interest on social media and began receiving advertising offers.

Emphasizing that dancing is a part of their culture, Vasilina stated, “Going out with friends, having fun, and dancing is part of our culture. This is not wrong. Yes, there is war, I wish there wasn’t. However, a woman who dances is not bad.”
