The young woman was shot and killed by her husband's gun during a jealousy dispute.

In the incident that occurred in the Gültepe neighborhood of the Sarıçam district in Adana; Günay Sena S. had an argument with her husband İbrahim S. after seeing a message from a woman on his mobile phone, two years after their marriage. During the argument, Günay Sena S. was shot in the chest with a gun belonging to İbrahim S. and was seriously injured. İbrahim S. tried to carry his wife outside the apartment. At that moment, as Günay Sena S. fell to the ground, İbrahim S. applied pressure to her wound. After the notification, many teams were sent to the area. The teams performed CPR on the woman whose heart had stopped and took her to the hospital.

"SHE COMMITTED SUICIDE, I DIDN'T KILL HER"

As those moments were captured on security cameras, Günay Sena S. passed away the same day. The lifeless body of Günay Sena S. was buried. İbrahim S., who was detained by the police, stated in his testimony, "My wife saw a message from a woman on my phone. She got angry and took my gun and shot herself. She committed suicide, I didn't kill her."

THERE WERE RESTRAINING ORDERS

On the other hand, the family of Günay Sena S. filed a complaint, stating that İbrahim S. had killed their daughter. The family mentioned that their daughter had been assaulted several times before and that there were restraining orders against İbrahim S., presenting the documents to the prosecutor's office. İbrahim S., whose DNA samples were taken, was arrested after his testimony at the courthouse he was referred to. The investigation will reveal whether the incident was a suicide or a murder.
