28 teams have secured their spots in the round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The first elimination round matchups, including Brazil-Japan, Netherlands-Morocco, USA-Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Argentina-Cape Verde, have also been confirmed.
As the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup draws to a close, the number of teams that have guaranteed advancement to the Round of 32 has reached 28.
28 countries, including the USA, Mexico, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, France, England, Spain, the Netherlands, and Portugal, have secured their place in the knockout round.

The USA, Mexico, Germany, Argentina, Norway, France, Colombia, Canada, Switzerland, Brazil, Morocco, South Africa, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ecuador, Ivory Coast, Netherlands, England, Japan, Sweden, Australia, Cape Verde, Portugal, Paraguay, Egypt, Ghana, Spain, Senegal, and Belgium have guaranteed their spot in the Round of 32.
