Those who do not have urgent business should not come to our district. The road is slipping and has dropped about 10 meters. Heavy rainfall continuing in the Feke district of Adana has caused landslides and rockfalls. The helicopter landing pad used for health ambulances collapsed in the landslide that occurred in the Arıkaya area.

While the teams continue their road opening and safety efforts in the area, Feke Mayor Cömert Özen conducted inspections and made statements in the region. Mayor Özen stated that all state institutions are on the ground, saying, "We are inspecting the landslide area on the D-815 highway. We are on the ground with all the resources of our state. We expect very heavy rainfall today and tomorrow. Do not come to our district unless it is absolutely necessary. The road is sliding and has dropped about 10 meters. Our municipality, the district governor's office, the highways, and the State Water Works teams are working with 28 trucks and many graders. Our citizens should not set out without getting information from us, and they should be patient," he said.
SCHOOLS HAVE BEEN CLOSED
On the other hand, due to heavy rainfall in the Feke district of Adana, transportation education has been suspended for 1 day. In a statement made by the Feke District Governor's Office, it was noted that the ongoing heavy rains in the district could negatively affect transportation, and as a precaution, education in schools under transportation education was suspended for 1 day on February 18. In the statement, which emphasized the safety of students, citizens were asked to be careful and cautious against adverse weather conditions.
