It has been claimed that Bahri Sirel, who was reported to have lost his life in a motorcycle accident in the Gölhisar district of Burdur, actually died after falling from a tractor, as no evidence of the accident was found. It was alleged that the motorcycle was brought to the scene to cover up the incident, while the person who was driving the tractor on the day of the incident was arrested on charges of causing death by negligence.
The cause of death of 29-year-old Bahri Sirel, who was claimed to have died in a motorcycle accident, turned out to be completely different. In the incident where a fake crime scene was even created, one person was arrested.
On February 3, 2025, Monday, in the Arpa Deresi area of Evciler village in Gölhisar district, Bahri Sirel (29), who was reported to have had an accident with a motorcycle with license plate 20 D 4728, was taken to Gölhisar State Hospital in serious condition but could not be saved despite all interventions. His funeral was held the next day in Karapınar village.
RELATIVES' SUSPICION CLARIFIED THE INCIDENT
Sirel's family applied to the gendarmerie after finding no trace of an accident on the motorcycle. As a result of the investigations, it was determined that Sirel was actually working on the demolition of a vineyard house in Karapınar village and fell while transporting debris with a tractor.
THEY EVEN CREATED A FAKE CRIME SCENE
It was claimed that on the day of the incident, Hüseyin Ö. (48), who was driving the tractor, along with his brother S.Ö. (43), the village headman, and R.K., took Sirel's motorcycle from his vineyard house to the scene and made it look like he was a victim of an accident. As a result of the investigations carried out by the gendarmerie teams, Hüseyin Ö., his wife F.Ö., village headman S.Ö., and R.K. were detained on suspicion of 'Causing Death by Negligence and Concealing or Altering Evidence of a Crime' and were referred to Gölhisar Courthouse.
FAMILY'S REQUEST TO "REOPEN THE GRAVE"
The court arrested Hüseyin Ö. for causing death by negligence, while F.Ö. and R.K. were released. S.Ö. was released under judicial control. While the investigation into the incident continues, it has been learned that the family has applied for the grave to be reopened.
