STATEMENT FROM THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE

It was reported that the injured worker was taken to Kayseri City Hospital for treatment. In his statement, Governor Çiçek said, "We are at the scene. Upon receiving information about a collapse, our AFAD teams immediately arrived at the scene. However, we saw that it was not a collapse but rather a few rock masses falling and hitting one of our citizens on the head, which caused their immediate death. One of our citizens is also injured. This happened during a shift of seven people. Five managed to get out on their own. One has died, and the other is injured. We know that the injured citizen is not severely injured. This is the information we have. We are saddened by this. May our condolences be with us."
