A family of nine who wanted to dine at a hotel in Bodrum claimed that restaurant service was halted and they were asked to leave because businessman Rahmi Koç arrived at the hotel. Stating that they paid a bill of approximately 70,000 Turkish Liras, the family filed a formal complaint against the hotel with the gendarmerie after the incident. No statement has been made by the parties involved yet.
An incident that allegedly took place during the busiest period of the summer season in Bodrum, Muğla, has become a hot topic.
According to a report in Sabah; the previous day, a family of 9 who wanted to order food service at Divan Türkbükü Bodrum was reportedly told that restaurant service had been stopped because businessperson Rahmi Koç had arrived at the hotel.
“THEY CLAIM THEY WERE ASKED TO LEAVE, TOLD ‘NO SERVICE’”
Serkan Keser, who stated he had been a regular patron of the hotel for many years, claimed that they were told “No service” and were asked to leave the restaurant.
Expressing that they were greatly astonished by what happened, Keser reacted by claiming that despite paying a bill of approximately 70,000 TL at the restaurant, they faced such treatment.
FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE GENDARMERIE
Following the incident, it was learned that Serkan Keser went to the gendarmerie station, had an official report prepared, and filed a formal complaint against the hotel management.
No official statement has yet been made by the hotel management or other parties regarding the allegation.
