The excitement of the Eid al-Adha prayer was experienced at the 400-year-old historical Kale Mosque in Sivas. Foreign students who came to the city for university education created colorful scenes by attending the Eid prayer in their traditional local attire. After the prayer, the students exchanged greetings with the locals and expressed their happiness in spending the holiday together away from their homeland.
At the 400-year-old historical Kale Mosque in Sivas, the joy of Eid al-Adha was celebrated. Foreign students who came to the city for university education created colorful scenes by attending the Eid prayer in their traditional costumes from their home countries.
Built in 1580 by the then Governor of Sivas, Mahmut Pasha, the historic Kale Mosque experienced a heavy rush of worshippers in the early hours of the holiday. While citizens filled the mosques to perform the Eid prayer, foreign students studying in Sivas also chose Kale Mosque for the Eid prayer.
THEY DREW ATTENTION WITH THEIR TRADITIONAL COSTUMES
Students from Sudan, Indonesia, and various other countries came to the mosque in their traditional attire and performed the Eid prayer alongside the locals. After the prayer, the students exchanged holiday greetings with the congregation, and the scenes at the historic mosque reflected the spirit of unity and solidarity of the holiday.

Sudanese student Mohamed Elsıddıg said, “We come here with our friends from Arab countries and Africa. We find peace in this environment and feel happy even while away from home.”

Indonesian Rafli Muhammed stated that he attended the Eid prayer in his traditional attire and said, “I am very excited and happy. I wish everyone a blessed holiday.”
