In front of a high school in Batman, bullets hit parked vehicles during an armed fight between two groups. A search operation has been initiated to capture the suspects who fled after the fight.
THEY ENGAGED IN AN ARMED CONFLICT IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL
The incident occurred in the afternoon in front of Batman High School in the Ziya Gökalp neighborhood. A dispute that arose between two groups for an unknown reason escalated into an armed fight. While there were no fatalities or injuries in the incident, the bullets fired from the guns of the parties hit some parked vehicles. Police teams dispatched to the scene upon notification have started working to capture the fleeing suspects.

Şehmuz Önlü, the branch president of Eğitim-Bir-Sen, stated that he witnessed the incident while visiting the school, saying, "Today, when we came to visit the school here, we found ourselves in the middle of a conflict. We witnessed an armed clash between two separate groups. Unfortunately, the school teachers were anxious. Our students were in fear. Our greatest wish is that it does not coincide with school dismissal time. If it had coincided with school dismissal time, very serious things could have happened. Unfortunately, we witnessed bullet marks on some vehicles. There were dozens of casings on the ground. There was serious chaos. Our school administrators, thank goodness, closed the doors of their school. They brought the students inside. We need a security officer in our schools. It cannot be like this," he said.
