In Adana, 4 people hiding their faces with hoods and ski masks broke the shutter of a currency exchange office with a crowbar, entered, and stole approximately 16 thousand dollars. After the robbery, which was captured on security cameras, 3 suspects caught in an operation were arrested, while efforts to capture the fleeing driver continue.
A robbery that rivaled movie scenes occurred in the Seyhan district of Adana. Four suspects targeted a currency exchange office in the Karasoku neighborhood, breaking its shutter by crashing into it with a jeep, then entered and ransacked the safes and drawers.
In the incident that took place in the early morning hours of January 31, suspects Faysal Ç., İshak T., and Ferhat U., who hid their faces with hoods and ski masks, entered the premises and began searching for money. The suspects overturned counters and broke the locks of the drawers with a chisel.
THEY FILLED BAGS WITH 16 THOUSAND DOLLARS AND FLED
The suspects filled bags with approximately 16 thousand dollars found in the office drawers. Completing the robbery within minutes, the perpetrators got into the jeep they arrived in and fled the scene.
The incident was captured second by second on the office's security cameras.
THEY DENIED THE ALLEGATIONS
Upon the alarm being triggered, the office owner arrived at the scene and reported the situation to the police. As a result of the investigation launched by the Theft and Pickpocketing Bureau, the identities of the suspects were determined.
In the operations carried out, Faysal Ç., İshak T., and Ferhat U. were taken into custody, but the stolen money could not be found during searches at their addresses.
The suspects, interrogated at the police station, denied the allegations by claiming that the individuals in the footage were not them.
3 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
After their procedures at the police station, Faysal Ç., İshak T., and Ferhat U. were referred to the courthouse and arrested by the court, then sent to prison.
It was reported that efforts continue to apprehend the fourth suspect, who is believed to have driven the jeep used in the robbery.
