Materials stolen from a workplace producing concrete additive chemicals in Antakya were found through the work of police teams and returned to their owner. Yusuf Karadeniz, who said he did not even want to go to the workplace after the theft, thanked the security personnel.

HE CALLED THE PERSONNEL AND INFORMED THEM

Yusuf Karadeniz, 75, who produces concrete additive chemical products with his son in Kuruyer Neighborhood, went to the workplace after his personnel informed him by phone that a thief had entered the workplace. During his check, Karadeniz saw that his electrical equipment, welding machine, and cables belonging to the factory's electrical installation had been stolen.

THE CEILING INSTALLATION WAS ALSO DISMANTLED

Karadeniz, realizing that the cables in the ceiling had also been removed and the installation had been dismantled, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. It was stated that the total value of the stolen materials was approximately 1 million lira.

18 SUSPECTS CAUGHT

Police teams, who launched work after the report, caught 18 suspects who were determined as a result of their investigations to have been involved in various theft incidents in the city and to be connected to the theft at Karadeniz's workplace. The seized materials were counted one by one and then delivered to Yusuf Karadeniz.

“I DID NOT EVEN WANT TO COME HERE”

Karadeniz, who got his materials back and began going to the workplace again, recounted what happened as follows: “I work with my son in the concrete additive sector. When I got up this morning, my staff called. They said, ‘Uncle, a thief has entered the workplace, can you come?’ I immediately came to the workplace, and after seeing the situation, I called the 112 Emergency Call Center. They directed me to the gendarmerie. Before 10 minutes passed, police teams called and said that such an incident had occurred and that they had caught the suspects. Upon this, I went to the police station.”

Providing information about the stolen materials, Karadeniz said, “The electrical equipment, my welding machine, and the cables belonging to the factory's electrical installation had been stolen from my workplace. I had a total of 700-800 meters of cable in various sizes. While removing the cables, they had also completely dismantled the ceiling installation. Because I did not want to see the workplace in that condition, I did not even want to come here.”

A THOUSAND THANKS TO THE POLICE

Referring to the work of the police teams, Karadeniz said, “May God be pleased with the security personnel. For two days, three police officers and one commissioner followed my case and did everything they could. In the end, they counted all the materials they seized one by one and delivered them to me. From here, I thank our Hatay Provincial Police Chief and all security personnel a thousand times. I am very happy to have my workplace materials back.”
