Sixteen climbers who wanted to climb Mount Süphan in the Adilcevaz district of Bitlis were stranded on the road due to heavy snow and fog. Aydınlar Municipality teams successfully carried out a rescue operation despite the challenging weather conditions and brought the climbers to the town center.

16 PEOPLE WERE STRANDED
A group of 16 climbers who set out to climb Mount Süphan from the Kışkılı neighborhood of Aydınlar town could not proceed due to heavy snow and fog.
TEAMS RUSHED TO THEIR AID
Upon the climbers' request for help while stranded on the road, teams from Aydınlar Municipality were directed to the area. As a result of the efforts carried out despite the difficult terrain and adverse weather conditions, the stranded climbers were picked up from their location and brought to the town center.
Deputy Mayor Orhan Emen stated that the safety of citizens and guests is a priority, and he said that the teams successfully carried out a rescue operation. The climbers also thanked the Aydınlar Municipality teams that helped them.
