Adanaspor, relegated to TFF 3. League, announced that the Turbeyler Group is ready to take over the club for 200 million TL.
A critical move has come for the 72-year-old deep-rooted club Adanaspor, which dropped to the TFF 3rd League after financial difficulties and player losses. In the Mediterranean team, where uncertainty prevailed before the new season, the fan group Turbeyler Kulübü stepped in to take over the club.
200 MILLION LIRA FOR 140 MILLION DEBT
Group managers announced at a press conference that they are ready to shoulder the club's current financial burden. Fan representatives, stating that Adanaspor has approximately 140 million TL in debt, said they offered to invest 200 million TL to take over the club.
"ADANASPOR CAN EASILY BE SAVED"
In a statement on the matter, it was expressed that a message was sent to the management with the intention of assuming all debts. Representatives, indicating that negotiations have not yet concluded, said, "When it was said that the debt amount was 140 million TL, we offered over that amount, 200 million TL. With this budget, Adanaspor can very easily get back on track. Our only wish is for the process to be clarified and for us to be allowed to put our hands under the burden."
