Ahmet Davutoğlu, evaluating Özgür Özel's statement about forming a new party, noted that the path defined by differences has come to an end, stating: 'My advice is this: beyond these minor disputes, it's time to discuss where we can meet in politics, Turkey's common values, common moral standards, and common political visions.'

Ahmet Davutoğlu, Chairman of the Future Party, answered journalists' questions after the weekly group meeting of the New Path Group. When asked about his assessment of Özgür Özel's statements regarding the establishment of a new party, Davutoğlu stated that he does not find it politically appropriate to make negative comments about developments in another party.

"UNFORTUNATELY, WE ARE EXPERIENCING BOTH AT THE SAME TIME"

Davutoğlu, stating that there are two fundamental dangers in Turkish politics, said, "The first is concentration in one place, the disappearance of diversity... The second is atomization in politics, i.e., preventing the formation of strong alternatives by fragmenting. Unfortunately, we are now experiencing both at the same time."

HE GAVE ADVICE TO ÖZGÜR ÖZEL

Davutoğlu, who left the AK Party and established a new party but did not find what he hoped for, also gave a piece of advice to Özgür Özel. Starting his speech by saying, "It is our duty to congratulate us," Davutoğlu stated, "But my advice is this: it is time to discuss beyond these small conflicts, where we can meet common ground in politics, and to reconsider Turkey's common values, common moral standards, and common political visions. We have reached the end of going anywhere by constantly differentiating with smaller units and accusing each other."
