In the first week of the UEFA Champions League, Portuguese team Benfica defeated Red Star Belgrade 2-1 away, with goals scored by national players Kerem Aktürkoğlu and Orkun Kökçü. After Orkun Kökçü's fantastic goal, the lack of reaction from head coach Bruno Lage did not go unnoticed.
Kerem Aktürkoğlu, who found the net in the 9th minute of the match played at Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, gave Benfica a 1-0 lead. Kerem celebrated a goal in his second match against the Portuguese representative.

In the 29th minute of the match, it was Orkun Kökçü's turn to shine. The national player scored with a free kick from approximately 25 meters, finding the back of the net and making the score 2-0.
