As the war between the US and Israel and Iran continues on its 9th day, striking statements have come from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Revolutionary Guards spokesman Ali Mohammed Naini stated that they are prepared for a long-term war scenario while evaluating the country's military capacity.
"WE CAN SUSTAIN INTENSE COMBAT FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS"
Naini said that the Iranian armed forces can sustain intense combat operations for at least 6 months with their current military capacity. He noted that Iran's arsenal includes heavy ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as various drones and landing ships, expressing that the army is ready for a large-scale war.
"MOST OF THE MISSILES USED ARE OLD GENERATION"
The Iranian official emphasized that the majority of the weapons used so far consist of first and second-generation missile systems. This statement was interpreted as a message that Iran has not yet deployed more advanced weapon systems.
"ADVANCED LONG-RANGE MISSILES WILL BE DEPLOYED"
Naini also indicated that advanced long-range missile systems, which are rarely used, could be deployed in the coming days. The spokesman stated that Iran is working on a new attack approach and warned the US and Israel to be prepared for more destructive and precise attacks.
