This week, thunderstorms and heavy rain will be effective in most parts of Turkey. It is expected that the precipitation will be low in the western regions, while it may be locally strong in the central and eastern regions. In Ankara, there may be thunderstorms and heavy rain on Tuesday and Wednesday, while in Istanbul, there could be brief rain showers on Tuesday. In Izmir, no precipitation is expected for 3-4 days.

THUNDERSTORMS AND HEAVY RAIN WILL BE EFFECTIVE ACROSS THE COUNTRY
Cengiz Çelik, a meteorology expert from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, provided an assessment regarding the expected weather conditions this week. According to the latest evaluations, Çelik stated that thunderstorms and heavy rain will be effective across the country this week, noting that the intensity of the rainfall will be low in the western regions but locally strong in the central and eastern regions.
"RAINS WILL BE STRONG FOR 3-4 DAYS"
Çelik mentioned that the rainfall is expected to last for a week, stating, "The rain will be particularly strong in the Eastern Mediterranean, the eastern part of Central Anatolia, the Eastern Black Sea, and the Eastern Anatolia Region for 3-4 days." He also reported that the temperatures, which are currently at seasonal norms, will drop by 1-2 degrees in the inner regions, while remaining at seasonal norms in other parts of the country.
BE CAREFUL IN THE CAPITAL FOR THESE 2 DAYS
Çelik emphasized that a partly and very cloudy weather will be effective in Ankara this week, stating that thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected in the capital on Tuesday and Wednesday. He noted that the highest temperature in the capital this week will be 20 degrees.
GAVE A DATE FOR ISTANBUL
Çelik reported that the weather will be very cloudy in Istanbul as well, stating, "On Tuesday, there may be short-term rain transitions in the western and northern parts. The highest temperatures in Istanbul will also be around 20 degrees."
THE TEMPERATURE WILL RISE IN IZMIR
Çelik stated that no rainfall is expected in Izmir for the next 3-4 days, and the temperatures will be around 26-27 degrees.
